As the Presidents of the Chinese American Heart Association (www.CNAHA.org) and the Academy of Cardiovascular Research Excellence (www.theACRE.org), we would like to invite you to join us for “The First Cardiovascular Research Symposium on Internet — The Era of Translational Medicine.”
This online continued medical education (CME) program recaptures a special conference co-organized by CNAHA/ACRE during AHA scientific sessions in Orlando, Florida on November 12, 2011. The conference lectures were contributed by a number of distinguished scientists and clinicians in the frontier of translational cardiovascular medicine. Moreover, we will be introducing several educational programs such as the Young Investigator Award (YIA) Program, the PI Show, Physician Corner, etc. Introducing this online symposium is one of many initiatives that CNAHA/ACRE strive to promote scientific exchange, education and research programs among cardiovascular scientists and clinicians in the US, China and the world.
CNAHA and ACRE are both non-profit volunteer-based organizations. CNAHA is a fast-growing organization of cardiovascular clinicians and scientists of Chinese origin in North American. ACRE is a well-established organization consisted of nationally- and internationally-recognized professors and investigators in major universities and research institutions in America, Asia, and Europe. One of the shared missions from both organizations is to promote cardiovascular research excellence and facilitate the academic and research collaboration among cardiovascular scientists/clinicians. The attendees will learn the missions and works from CNAHA and ACRE through their respective websites.
We would like to express our gratitude to our industry partners, Boston Scientific, St Jude Medical, Famillion, SentraHeart and Medtronic, for their generous grant support to our conference in Orlando. This online symposium would not have been possible without their supports.
Thank you very much for participating our online education program!
President, CNAHA & ACRE
